Yellow Dog Software provides inventory solutions for the hospitality and sports markets. It's platform is a full featured Retail, Food & Beverage and Concessions inventory system built to handle the merchandise needs of resorts, casinos, restaurants, bars, stadiums, universities, clubs and general retail operations. During my time at Yellow Dog Software, I have had many roles as the company grew. In this role, I am responsible for overseeing all related changes. This includes APIs, Mobile Apps, Web Applications, and hosting.

• Lead and organize platform initiatives.
• Lead a team of seven software developers who specialize in APIs, mobile and web apps, and integrations.

Lumastic was a platform for creators to accomplish projects with a community. Initial target market was for hobbyists and YouTube Creators to have a platform where they could engage with other members of their field for assistance on projects. It was a place to show progress of a project overtime and record the process by using rich text and multimedia content.

• Lead in Technology Architecture and planning initiatives.
• Built out highly scalable api and database solution.
• Implemented secure subscription for premium user base using Stripe Payment Platform.

Develop and maintain components of an inventory management software solution. The solution is based on a MSSQL database backend with a long-term support WinForms Client application and iOS/Android Applications.

• Implemented and developed new features in WinForms Client, React Web Apps, dotnet core API, iOS/Android Applications, and ExpressJS GraphQL server.
• Resolve all issues with software and final escalation point for end users.
• Conceptualize, plan, and execute new features and technology into the software solution.
• Create system integrations between Yellow Dog Inventory and third party systems.
• Architected and implemented an internal tool for Support and Implementation groups to track real time system status to deliver proactive support and client assistance.

Served in a DevOps Role for a Software Development Organization. Performed as the escalation point for support tickets to provide fixes and fact finding prior to being escalated to the development group.

• Maintained and supported 50+ physical servers that were but onsite and hosted through a third party datacenter.
• Implemented Tier 4 support for escalation of tickets.
• Pinpointed opportunities for database improvement in support of the software.
• Composed, released, and applied SQL Scripts to production environments to resolve bugs or optimize client systems.
• Assisted support team with timely ticket resolution.
• Installed a Network Management System to track uptime and maintained an uptime of 99.99% across the server and network infrastructure.

Implemented and maintained the Software items in the Service Portfolio and Pipeline. This includes tier 2 & 3 end user support, diagnosing software problems and scheduled maintenance. In addition, they provide advanced system administration/configuration tasks and consult customers on proposed changes within In House (Custom) Applications and third-party COTS software products.
